Chelsea 1990

Garden designed for London’s Evening Standard newspaper. A raised terrace with a wooden gazebo surrounded by a balustrade overlooking a small garden framed by yew hedges, a soft-toned brickwork path and deep herbaceous borders.  Topiary included a central stepped buxus topiary and a yew hedge clipped to form a pedimented gateway, suggesting that a larger garden may lie beyond this intimate setting. Gold medal.
