Garden in Paris

This garden is a small oasis around an exquisite 18th century hôtel particulier in the centre of Paris with a country feel, where cloud box hedges are the main feature on either side of the front door. A trellis fence surrounds the space and a small gate and path lead to the house through a little woodland planted with Acer japonicum and interesting shade loving plants.  Discretion, soft formality and charm are the key to this garden.
