The Hermitage

The masterplan for a delightful manor house set in a deep valley outside Bath, England.  The garden (7 acres) is on a steep slope and the masterplan seeks to place the house more comfortably in its setting by levelling the slopes around the house and creating wider terraces surrounding it, set with herbaceous borders, a pool terrace, walks surrounding the property and to a new kitchen garden framed by informal banks leading to a new swimming pool.
