Maggies Centre Dundee

My masterplan for this 3-acre site surrounding the cancer caring centre designed by Frank Gehry in the grounds of Ninewells Hospital, Dundee includes dramatic stepped earthwork mounds around a new, 33-metre-diameter labyrinth that visually links the hospital and the Maggie Centre. A smaller circular garden was designed for reflection and quiet and is surrounded by scented plants and flowering trees. Elsewhere, the garden features plantations of native and flowering trees and shrubs, improved lighting, discreet car parking and disabled, ambulance & helicopter access.
